The2023 FairBreak Invitational T20 was the second edition of theFairBreak Invitational T20, awomen's Twenty20cricketcompetition, which was held from 3 to 16 April 2023 at theKowloon Cricket Club inHong Kong. The tournament, sanctioned by theICC, was being privately run byFairBreak Global, a company that aims to promotegender equality. A total of 90 players from 28 countries were spread across six teams.[1][2][3] The tournament was won by Warriors, who beat Falcons in the final by 94 runs.[4]
An additional tournament for 2023, staged in collaboration withUSA Cricket, will be played in Houston, Texas, USA, between 15 and 30 September 2023.[5][6]
Teams played each other team once, with two matches taking place on most days. The top four teams in the group advanced to the semi-finals. All matches took place atKowloon Cricket Club.[7]
The group worked on a points system with positions being based ontotal points. Points were awarded as follows:
Win: 3 points.
Tie: 2 points.
Loss: 0 points.
Abandoned/No Result: 2 points.
Bonus Point: 1 point awarded to the team with the highest score after 10 overs of the batting innings.
