The2023–24 season was the 56th season of theNorthern Premier League. The league consists of four divisions, the Premier Division at Step 3 of theNational League System, and the West, East and Midlands divisions at Step 4.

  1. ^Four teams play for one spot and promotion to theNational League North
  2. ^Whitby Town were deducted 3 points for fielding an ineligible player.
  3. ^FC United of Manchester were deducted 1 point for fielding an ineligible player.
  4. ^On 3 January, Marske United resigned from the NPL, a decision that was ratified by the league on 5 January and the FA on 12 January. Marske United's playing record of Pld22 W7 D0 L15 GD23 Pts21 was expunged.
