The2023–24 season wasVfB Stuttgart's 131st season in existence and fourth consecutive season in theBundesliga. They also competed in theDFB-Pokal.
The club enjoyed a highly successful season under coachSebastian Hoeneß, culminating in securing aUEFA Champions League spot for the first time since their last participation in 2009–10.[1] In addition, five players were named in theGermany national team preliminary squad for theUEFA Euro 2024 includingAlexander Nübel,Chris Führich,Maximilian Mittelstädt,Waldemar Anton andDeniz Undav, the highest number of players ever selected from the club in any major tournament.[2] Despite spending most of the season in third place, the club secured second place on the final matchday, marking their best finish since winning the title in 2007.[3]
