The2022 Orange County, Florida, mayoral election was held on August 23, 2022, to elect the mayor of Orange County, Florida.[1] IncumbentJerry Demings was first elected in 2018,[2] and was re-elected in 2022 with 60.05%. SinceDemings won a majority in the first round, a runoff election was not needed.[1][3]
The election was officiallynonpartisan,[4] but most candidates were affiliated with political parties, and Demings is a registeredDemocrat.[5]
