Schedule

Northwestern announced its 2022 football schedule on January 12, 2022.[2] The 2022 schedule consisted of six home games and five away games, as well as a neutral-site game in the regular season. The Wildcats hosted Big Ten foesWisconsin,Ohio State, andIllinois and traveled toPenn State,Maryland,Iowa,Minnesota, andPurdue. They playedNebraska atAviva Stadium inDublin, Ireland, which was their only win of the entire season.[3] The Wildcats hosted all three non-conference opponents,Duke from theACC,Southern Illinois fromDivision I FCS, andMiami (OH) from theMAC.
