TheMaryland Attorney General election of 2022 was held on November 8, 2022, to elect theAttorney General of Maryland. IncumbentDemocratic Attorney GeneralBrian Frosh was eligible to seek a third term in office, but announced that he would retire at the end of his term in early 2023.[1]

U.S. Representative, formerLieutenant Governor, and2014 gubernatorial nomineeAnthony Brown won the Democratic nomination, whileNeo-Confederate formerAnne Arundel County councilman and 2004Constitution Party Presidential nomineeMichael Peroutka won theRepublican nomination. As was expected, Brown won the general election by a wide margin.[2]
