The2022–23 Omaha Mavericks men's basketball team represented theUniversity of Nebraska Omaha in the2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mavericks, led by first-year head coachChris Crutchfield, played their home games atBaxter Arena inOmaha, Nebraska as members of theSummit League.

The Mavericks finished the season 9–23, 4–14 inSummit League play, to finish in 10th (last) place. They defeatedKansas City in the first round of theSummit League tournament[1] before losing toSouth Dakota State in the quarterfinals.[2]

TheMavericks finished the2021–22 season 5–25, 4–14 inSummit League play, to finish in ninth place. They lost toSouth Dakota State in the quarterfinals of theSummit League tournament.[3]
