The2020 Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction election was held on November 3, 2020, to elect thesuperintendent of public instruction of Washington, concurrently with the2020 U.S. presidential election, as well aselections to theU.S. Senate and variousstate and local elections, including forU.S. House andgovernor of Washington. Incumbent Superintendent of Public InstructionChris Reykdal was re-elected to a second term, defeating challenger Maia Espinoza with 55% of the vote.[1] While the race was officially non-partisan, Reykdal identified as a Democrat, while Espinoza identified as a Republican.[1]

Incumbent Superintendent of Public InstructionChris Reykdal, first elected in2016 with 51% of the vote, ran for re-election to a second term in office.[2]
