The2020–21 Pittsburgh Panthers women's basketball team represented TheUniversity of Pittsburgh during the2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Panthers, were led by third year head coachLance White, and played their home games at thePetersen Events Center as members of theAtlantic Coast Conference.

The Panthers finished the season 5–14 and 3–12 inACC play to finish in twelfth place. In theACC tournament, they lost toBoston College in the First Round. They were not invited to theNCAA tournament or theWNIT.

Previous season

They finished theseason 5–26 and 1–17 inACC play to finish in fifteenth place. As the fifteenth seed in theACC tournament, they defeatedNotre Dame in the First Round before losing toGeorgia Tech in the Second Round. TheNCAA tournament andWNIT were cancelled due to theCOVID-19 outbreak.[1]
