The2019 CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana (Portuguese:CONMEBOL Recopa Sul-Americana de 2019) was the 27th edition of theCONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana (also referred to as theRecopa Sudamericana), thefootball competition organized byCONMEBOL between the winners of the previous season's two majorSouth American club tournaments, theCopa Libertadores and theCopa Sudamericana.

The competition was contested in two-legged home-and-away format betweenArgentine teamRiver Plate, the2018 Copa Libertadores champions, andBrazilian teamAthletico Paranaense, the2018 Copa Sudamericana champions. The first leg was hosted by Athletico Paranaense at theArena da Baixada inCuritiba,Brazil on 22 May 2019, while the second leg was hosted by River Plate on 30 May 2019 at theEstadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti inBuenos Aires,Argentina.[2][3]

River Plate won 3–1 on aggregate for their third Recopa Sudamericana title.

The Recopa Sudamericana was played on a home-and-awaytwo-legged basis, with the Copa Libertadores champions (River Plate) hosting the second leg. If tied on aggregate, theaway goals rule would not be used, and 30 minutes ofextra time would be played. If still tied after extra time, thepenalty shoot-out would be used to determine the winner.[4]
