
The2018 Tandridge District Council election took place on 3 May 2018 to elect members ofTandridgeDistrict Council inSurrey,England. One third of the council was up for election and theConservative Party narrowly stayed in overall control of the council.[1]
After the election, the composition of the council was:
TheConservative group lost eight seats at the election, a net loss of nine from 2014 (by-election loss to Oxted & Limpsfield Residents' Group (OLRG) in Limpsfield ward - Oct, 2016).[2] TheLiberal Democrats gained three of these seats,independents took three with OLRG taking the other three, including Limpsfield they had won in the by-election.[3] This left theConservatives with 22councillors, compared to 9 for theLiberal Democrats, 7Independents and 4 in theresidents' group. A Conservative majority of one.[4] Overallturnout at the election was 41%.[5]
