The2018–19 Persian Gulf Pro League (formerly known asIran Pro League) was the 36th season ofIran's Football League and 18th asPersian Gulf Pro League since its establishment in 2001.Persepolis were thedefending champions. The season featured 13 teams from the2017–18 Persian Gulf Pro League and two new teams promoted from the2017–18 Azadegan League:Naft Masjed Soleyman as champions andNassaji Mazandaran.Machine Sazi replacedGostaresh. The league started on 26 July 2018 and ended on 16 May 2019.Persepolis won the Pro League title for the fifth time in their history, a total 12th Iranian title.
