The2017 Belk Bowl was a postseasoncollege footballbowl game played atBank of America Stadium inCharlotte,North Carolina on December 29, 2017. The game was the 16th edition of theBelk Bowl and featured theWake Forest Demon Deacons of theAtlantic Coast Conference and theTexas A&M Aggies of theSoutheastern Conference. It was one of the2017–18 bowl games concluding the2017 FBS football season. The game was sponsored by department store chainBelk.[3]

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons finished the 2017 regular season with a 7–5 record. The game was the team's second appearance in the bowl; they made their first appearance in2007, when the game was known as the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

Texas A&M
