An election was held on November 8, 2016, to elect all 120 members toNorth Carolina'sHouse of Representatives. The election coincided withelections for other offices, includingU.S. President,U.S. Senate,U.S. House of Representatives,state governor andstate senate. Theprimary election was held on March 15, 2016.
There was no change in the composition of the House (compared to the results of the 2014 elections) as Republicans retained their three-fifthssupermajority, winning 74 seats compared to 46 seats for the Democrats.[1]
