Elections in New Mexico

The2016 New Mexico House of Representatives election took place as part of thebiennialUnited States elections.New Mexico voters elected state representatives in all 70 of the state house's districts. State representatives serve two-year terms in theNew Mexico House of Representatives. The election coincided withelections for other offices, including thePresidency, the special election forSecretary of State, theU.S. House, and theState Senate.[1]

A primary election held on June 7, 2016, determined which candidates appear on the November 8thgeneral election ballot.
