The2015 Saudi Super Cup was the third edition of theSaudi Super Cup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season'sSaudi Pro League andKing Cup competitions.
The match was played on 12 August 2015 betweenAl-Nassr, the winners of the2014–15 Saudi Pro League, andAl-Hilal, the winners of the2015 King Cup.[1]
It was the first edition of the Saudi Super Cup to be held abroad, taking place at theLoftus Road Stadium inLondon,England. The match was reportedly aimed at engagingSaudi students and expatriates living in theUnited Kingdom.
Al-Hilal won the match 1–0, with the only goal scored byCarlos Eduardo, to claim their first Saudi Super Cup title.[2][3]
The 2015 Saudi Super Cup was originally scheduled to be played atKing Fahd International Stadium, inRiyadh on 14 August 2015, howeverThe SAFF decided to change it to be held atLoftus Road Stadium, inLondon on 12 August 2015.[4]
