The2015 DFL-Supercup was the sixth edition of the German Super Cup under the nameDFL-Supercup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season'sBundesliga andDFB-Pokal competitions. It featuredBayern Munich, the winners of the2014–15 Bundesliga, andVfL Wolfsburg, the winners of the2014–15 DFB-Pokal.

Bayern lost 2–0 inthe previous edition, toBorussia Dortmund.[2]

The match was played on 1 August 2015.[3] Wolfsburg defeated Bayern Munich 5–4 onpenalties after the match had ended 1–1.

Arjen Robben had put Bayern Munich ahead in the 49th minute from close range after goalkeeperKoen Casteels had fumbled a cross from the left fromDouglas Costa.Nicklas Bendtner leveled the game in the 89th minute scoring at the near post after a cross fromKevin De Bruyne from the right. Bendtner went on to score the decisive penalty in the penalty shoot-out shooting high into the top left corner as Wolfsburg won 5–4.[4]
