The2015Úrvalsdeild karla, also known asPepsi-deild karla for sponsorship reasons, was the 104th season of top-flightIcelandic football. Twelve teams contested the league; the defending champions wereStjarnan, who had won their first league title in2014 going unbeaten in the league.[3]
On 26 SeptemberFH were crowned champions after a 2–1 win overFjölnir with one game to spare.[4] This wasFH's 7th league title.
Keflavík andLeiknir R were relegated from the league.Keflavík had been in the league since 2004 but this wasLeiknir R's first season in the top flight.[5]
The season started on 3 May 2015 and was conclude on 4 October 2015.[6]
A total of 12 teams contested the league. 10 teams from the2014 season and the 2 promoted teams from2014 1. deild karla. On 4 September 2014 bothLeiknir R. andÍA earned promotion from1. deild,[7] they replaced the relegated teamsFram andÞór.
