The2015–16 South African Premiership season (known as theABSA Premiership for sponsorship reasons) was the twentieth season of thePremiership since its establishment in 1996.

Mamelodi Sundowns won their seventh league title in dominant fashion, finishing 14 points ahead of second-placeBidvest Wits. League newcomersJomo Cosmos dropped into last place for the first time all season in their final game, and were relegated to theNational First Division for the 2016-17 season.
