RepublicanRaúl Labrador who had represented Idaho's 1st congressional district since 2011, was rumoured to be considering a run forgovernor in2014, but announced that he would run for re-election instead.[2] Labrador won election to a second term in 2012, defeating formerNFL playerJimmy Farris with 63% of the vote.
