ThePennsylvania lieutenant gubernatorial election of 2014 took place on November 4, 2014, to elect theLieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania, the winners of the lieutenant gubernatorialprimary elections join the ticket of their party's gubernatorial nominee.

Background

Primary elections were held on May 20, 2014. IncumbentRepublican Lieutenant GovernorJim Cawley was renominated unopposed and ran for re-election to a second term on a ticket with incumbent GovernorTom Corbett. TheDemocratic nominee was State SenatorMike Stack, who was businessmanTom Wolf's running mate.[1]

Wolf and Stack defeated Corbett and Cawley in the general election.[2]
