The2014 Minnesota Attorney General election was held on November 4, 2014, to elect theMinnesota Attorney General.

IncumbentDemocratic–Farmer–Labor Attorney GeneralLori Swanson ran for re-election to a third term in office. Primary elections were held on August 12, 2014. The Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) renominated Swanson, theRepublican Party nominated State SenatorScott Newman and theIndependence Party nominated attorney Brandan Borgos.

Swanson defeated Newman in the general election by a significant margin.
