The2013 Tennessee State Tigers football team representedTennessee State University as a member of theOhio Valley Conference (OVC) in the2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by fourth-year head coachRod Reed and played their home games atLP Field and atHale Stadium. Tennessee State finished the season 10–4 overall and 6–2 in OVC play to place second. They received an at-large bid to theNCAA Division I Football Championship playoffs, where they defeatedButler in the first round before losing toEastern Illinois in the second round.[1]
