The2013 Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team representedMississippi State University in the2013 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team was coached byJohn Cohen, in his 14th year as a collegiate head coach, and his 5th at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs play their home games atDudy Noble Field, and compete in theSoutheastern Conference's West Division.

After the 2012 season, assistant coachLane Burroughs left Mississippi State to become the head coach atNorthwestern State.Nick Mingione became the assistant coach for the 2013 season, replacing Lane Burroughs.[5]

After a third-place finish in the SEC West and a semifinal appearance in the2013 Southeastern Conference baseball tournament, the Bulldogs advanced through theNCAA tournament's Starkville Regional, Charlottesville Super Regional, andCollege World Series bracket to reach the College World Series final with an 8–1 record in the tournament.
