The2012 Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction election was held on November 6, 2012, to elect thesuperintendent of public instruction of Washington, concurrently with the2012 U.S. presidential election, as well aselections to theU.S. Senate and variousstate and local elections, including forU.S. House andgovernor of Washington. Incumbent Superintendent of Public InstructionRandy Dorn was re-elected to a second term unopposed.[1]

Incumbent Superintendent of Public InstructionRandy Dorn, first elected in2008 with 52% of the vote, ran for re-election to a second term in office.[2]
