The2012 United States motorcycle Grand Prix (formally known as the2012 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix)[4] was the tenth round of the2012 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the first of two races in the 2012 season to take place in theUnited States of America. It was held on July 29, 2012 at theMazda Raceway Laguna Seca inMonterey,California.[5]
Jorge Lorenzo qualified on pole position for the race,[6] which was won byCasey Stoner.[7]
