The2012–13 season wasSt Johnstone's fourth consecutive season in theScottish Premier League, having been promoted from theScottish First Division at the end of the2008–09 season.[2] St Johnstone also competed in theEuropa League,[3]League Cup and theScottish Cup.

St Johnstone finished third in theScottish Premier League.[4] They reached the Second qualifying round of theEuropa League,[5] the Quarter-final of theLeague Cup[6] and the fifth round of theScottish Cup.[7]
