The2011–12 season wasRoss County's fourth consecutive season in theScottish First Division, having been promoted as champions of theScottish Second Division at the end of2007–08 season.[1] They also competed in theChallenge Cup,League Cup and theScottish Cup.

Summary

Ross County finished first in theFirst Division[2] and were promoted to thePremier League[3] for the first time.[4] They reached the first round of theChallenge Cup,[5] the third round of theLeague Cup[6] and the fifth round of theScottish Cup.[7]
