The2011–12Cypriot First Division was the 73rd season of theCypriot top-levelfootball league. It began on 27 August 2011 and ended on 12 May 2012.APOEL were the defending champions.AEL Limassol won the championship one matchweek before the end of the season.

The league comprise eleven teams from the2010–11 season and three promoted teams from the2010–11 Second Division.

Teams

Doxa Katokopias andAPOP Kinyras were relegated at the end of the first stage of the2010–11 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. They were joined byAEP Paphos, who finished at the bottom of the second-phase Group C.

The relegated teams were replaced by2010–11 Second Division championsAris Limassol, runners-upNea Salamis Famagusta and third-placed teamAnagennisi Dherynia.
