2010 Turner Prize

The four nominees for theTate Gallery's 2010Turner Prize wereDexter Dalwood,Angela de la Cruz,Susan Philipsz andThe Otolith Group (Anjalika Sagar andKodwo Eshun)[1][2]

The winner wasSusan Philipsz - the first sound artist to be nominated and the first to win.[3] Her winning work was an installation under three bridges inGlasgow in which she sang thesea shanty "Lowlands Away".
