The2010–11 South African Premiership, known as theABSA Premiership for sponsorship purposes, and also commonly referred to as thePSL after the governing body, was the fifteenth season of thePremiership since its establishment in 1996.

Supersport United were the defending champions, having won their third Premiership title the previous season. The campaign began on 27 August 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011.[5][6] A total of 16 teams contested the league, 15 of which already contested in the2009–10 season and one of which was promoted from theNational First Division.

Orlando Pirates secured the title with a 2–1 win againstGolden Arrows on 21 May 2011.[7] This was their third Premiership title. At the bottom,Mpumalanga Black Aces was relegated to the First Division[8] whileVasco da Gama contested the relegation playoffs and failed to secure its premier league status.[9][10][11]
