Football tournament season
The2009–10 Indian Federation Cup (known asHero Honda Federation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 31st season ofIndian Federation Cup .[ 1] East Bengal defeatedShillong Lajong on penalties to win the competition in the final for their sixth time and earned a place in the2010 AFC Cup .[ 2] The league phase of the tournament was held in both Guwahati and Silchar.
