The2008 Japan Football League (Japanese:第10回日本フットボールリーグ,Hepburn:Dai Jikkai Nihon Futtobōru Rīgu) was the tenth season of theJapan Football League, the third tier of the Japanesefootball league system.

2008 JFL teams

It was contested by 18 teams.Honda FC won the championship.

ALO's Hokuriku andYKK AP, both based inToyama merged before the season to becomeKataller Toyama.

Fagiano Okayama,New Wave Kitakyushu andMIO Biwako Kusatsu were promoted fromRegional leagues by the virtue of their placing in theRegional League promotion series.

New Wave Kitakyushu and Kataller Toyama were approved asJ. League associate members at the annual meeting in January. Fagiano Okayama were approved back in 2007 when playing in Regional league. FC Ryukyu's application was declined.

No relegation has occurred.Machida Zelvia,V-Varen Nagasaki andHonda Lock were promoted to JFL fromRegional leagues at the end of the season.
