The 18thSouth American Youth Championships in Athletics were heldinCaracas,Venezuela from October 14–15, 2006. The event wasrelocated from theEstadio Pueblo Nuevo inSan Cristóbal,Táchira,Venezuela, because the renovation of the stadium for theCopa América de Fútbol 2007 was not yet completed.[1] A detailed report on the results was given.[2]
