2006 UK local government election
Map of the results of the 2006 Huntingdonshire District Council election.Conservatives in blue,Liberal Democrats in yellow andindependents in light grey.Wards in dark grey were not contested in 2006.

The2006 Huntingdonshire District Council election took place on 4 May 2006 to elect members ofHuntingdonshireDistrict Council inCambridgeshire,England. One third of the council was up for election and theConservative Party stayed in overall control of the council.[1]

TheLiberal Democrat gain inHuntingdon East by David Priestman was the first time the party had won a seat in the town of Huntingdon on the council.[3]
