The2005 NCAA women's gymnastics championships were contested at the 24th annualtournament hosted by theNCAA to determine the individual and team national champions of women'sgymnastics among its member programs in theUnited States.[1]

The competition took place April 21–23 inAuburn, Alabama, hosted by theAuburn University inBeard–Eaves–Memorial Coliseum.

Georgia won the team championship, the Gym Dogs' first since1999 and sixth all-time.

Tasha Schwikert, fromUCLA, won the individual all-around championship.
