Rugby league competition
The2004 Challenge Cup , known as thePowergen Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 103rd staging of theChallenge Cup , a Europeanrugby league cup competition.
The competition began in November 2003, and ended with the final in May 2004, which was played at theMillennium Stadium inCardiff due to ongoing reconstruction work atWembley Stadium .
The tournament was won bySt. Helens , who beatWigan Warriors 32–16 in the final. TheLance Todd Trophy was won bySean Long .
