The2002 Paris–Roubaix was the 100th running of theParis–Roubaix single-day cycling race, often known as theHell of the North. It was held on 14 April 2002 over a distance of 261 kilometres (162.2 miles).
Belgian riderJohan Museeuw ofDomo–Farm Frites entered history by winning his third Paris–Roubaix after an impressive attack 40 kilometres from the Velodrome of Roubaix.[1] This edition was run under wind and rain conditions.[1]
