The2002 Georgia lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on November 5, 2002, to elect thelieutenant governor of Georgia, concurrently with the2002 gubernatorial election, as well aselections to theUnited States Senate andelections to theUnited States House of Representatives and variousstate andlocal elections. Georgia is one of 21 states that elects itslieutenant governor separately from itsgovernor.

IncumbentDemocratic lieutenant governorMark Taylor won re-election to a second term, defeatingRepublican nominee Steve Stancil.
