The2002Asian Junior Athletics Championships was the tenth edition of the internationalathletics competition forAsian under-20 athletes, organised by theAsian Athletics Association. It took place from 28 to 31 October inBangkok, Thailand.[1] A total of 43 events were contested, which were divided equally between male and female athletes aside from the men's3000 metres steeplechase.[2][3]
