2000 UK local government election

The2000 Woking Council election took place on 4 May 2000 to elect members ofWoking Borough Council inSurrey, England. The whole council was up for election with boundary changes since thelast election in 1999 increasing the number of seats by one.[1] The council stayed underno overall control,[2] and overallturnout in the election was 34.32%.[3]
