The2000 Windsor and Maidenhead Borough Council election took place on 4 May 2000 to elect members ofWindsor and MaidenheadUnitary Council inBerkshire, England. The whole council was up for election and theLiberal Democrats lost overall control of the council tono overall control.[1]
The election saw a trial of mobilepolling stations in an attempt to increaseturnout.[2]
