2-Hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine (2-HO-NMT) is atryptamine and is the 2-hydroxyanalog ofN-methyltryptamine (NMT). It is briefly mentioned inAlexander Shulgin's bookTiHKAL (Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved) under theDMT entry and is stated to be found inDesmanthus illinoensis.[1][2]
