The1999 Cherwell District Council election took place on 6 May 1999 to elect members ofCherwellDistrict Council inOxfordshire,England. One third of the council was up for election and the council stayed underno overall control.[1]
The result saw theConservative party make gains from bothLabour and theLiberal Democrats to become the largest party on the council.[2]
