The1997 Eurocard Open, also known as theStuttgart Masters, was a men'stennis tournament played onindoor hard courts. It was the 2nd edition of theStuttgart Masters, and was part of theATP Super 9 of the1997 ATP Tour. It took place at theSchleyerhalle inStuttgart, Germany, from 20 October through 27 October 1997.

The singles field was led by first-seededPete Sampras. Other top seeds wereMichael Chang,Patrick Rafter andGoran Ivanišević.Petr Korda, seeded 15th, won the singles title.
