The1994 Minnesota Attorney General election was held on Tuesday, November 8, 1994 to elect theMinnesota Attorney General for a four-year term. IncumbentDFLerSkip Humphrey ran for reelection to a fourth term, ultimately defeating Republican nominee Sharon Anderson.[1] The election marked the seventh attorney general race in a row won by the DFL since 1970. Humphrey won every single county in the state, becoming the first person to do so since GovernorWendell Anderson in1974, and the most recent person to do so as of 2025, although GovernorArne Carlson won all but three counties inthe adjacent gubernatorial election, and U.S. senatorAmy Klobuchar won all but two in2012.

The primary was held on September 13. Incumbent attorney generalSkip Humphrey won the DFL nomination.[2] Humphrey faced only token opposition for renomination fromLaRouchite candidates.[3]

The primary was held on September 13. Sharon Anderson won theIndependent-Republican nomination over Republican Party-endorsed candidate Tom Neuville, an upset attributed to Anderson's "very electable name."[2][5]
