The1994California Attorney General election elas held on Tuesday November 8. Theprimary elections was held on March 8, 1994. TheRepublicanincumbent,Dan Lungren, easily defeated theDemocratic nominee,AssemblymanTom Umberg. Every candidate in this race was unopposed in the primary.[1] As of 2025, this was the last time that a Republican was elected Attorney General of California.
