The league was contested by 18 teams withEstrela Amadora winning the championship and gaining promotion to thePrimeira Divisão along withUnião Funchal andVitória Setúbal. At the other end of the tableCD Feirense,Amora FC andBenfica Castelo Branco were relegated to theSegunda Divisão.[1]
