The1987–88 Connecticut Huskies men's basketball team represented theUniversity of Connecticut in the 1987–88 collegiate men's basketball season. The Huskies completed the season with a 20–14 overall record. They were members of theBig East Conference where they finished with a 4–12 record.

Connecticut won the1988 National Invitation Tournament by defeatingOhio State 72–67 in the final. The Huskies played their home games atHugh S. Greer Field House inStorrs, Connecticut and theHartford Civic Center inHartford, Connecticut, and they were led by second-year head coachJim Calhoun.[2][3]
