The1984 Pro Bowl was the 34thPro Bowl, the annualall-star game of theNational Football League (NFL), and featured the outstanding performers from the1983 season. The game was contested by teams representing theNational Football Conference (NFC) andAmerican Football Conference (AFC), and played on January 29, 1984, atAloha Stadium inHonolulu, Hawaii before a crowd of 50,445.[1] The NFC won the game 45–3.

Chuck Knox of theSeattle Seahawks led theAFC team against anNFC team coached bySan Francisco 49ers head coachBill Walsh.[2] The referee wasJerry Seeman.[1]

Joe Theismann of theWashington Redskins was named the game'sMost Valuable Player.[2] Players on the winning NFC team received $10,000 apiece while the AFC participants each took home $5,000.[3]
